How to change or upload blogger template

Update pre-installed blogger template with another pre-installed template

1. Just click on the template you want to choose (located below edit html option) and a new dialog box appear in the bottom of that box you see a apply this option click on it. 
2. Your new blogger template will be installed which you wanted to use.

Add new custom blogger template

Look at the List of free blogger templates collection sites. They are compressed in .zip or .rar so extract it. You will get file name .xml(file type) in the end.

1. Click the template option
2. Select backup/restore option on top right
3. A new dialog box appears in which select choose your file or browse option locate your file double click on the file
4. file name will be seen upon the upload button
5. click upload, let it load and automatically the dialog box disappear and work is done.
6. Now, you have uploaded a new template to your site.

How to change blogger template without losing widgets

Sometimes when you change one template to another template, something goes wrong because of direct changes in blogger template and affects your whole blog design. So to prevent it first change it to simple blogger template and then upload your new custom template. It this way, your blog design will  be safe. 1. Click template tab and back/restore button
2. Download full template
3. Open .xml file in wordpad and edit the thing you want in it
4. Follow step 1. and choose your file option
5. Locate your file
6. Press upload button.

The best use of this is you can do it offline as it may take high data to edit it online. This method is easier than online edit html. Enjoy your new template :)
